I think that eggs re hardest to peel when they're fresh. Try it with eggs that are a week old.

I assume the temp is supposed to be at 75 before you put the eggs in and start the timer? I ask because when I hit the "Cook This" button in the app it starts the timer right away

Followed instructions however the white of the egg was still runny and very under cooked. Needed another few minutes

Didn't work for me. Too undercooked. Whites were runny. Used medium eggs. I'll try an extra 5 or 10 minutes next time.

This may seem dumb , but do you wait until temp has been achieved before you add food

Second attempt at 16 mins produced a cooked white but hard yolk - not as great as doing in a steam oven
over 1 year ago

Directions

  1. Set water bath to 167ºF (75ºC).
  2. Add eggs to water bath and cook for 13 minutes.
  3. Peel or cut off top 1/4 of each egg and enjoy with a spoon or toast!
