Introduction

Very simple and minimal recipe for flank steak. Very easy, and very little effort.

Ingredients

  • Flank Steak (This one was from Trader Joe's)
  • Seasoning of your liking (I used simple store bought steak seasoning)
  • Butter (For pan searing)
  • Olive Oil (For pan searing)

Introduction

Very simple and minimal recipe for flank steak. Very easy, and very little effort.

Directions

  1. After seasoning your flank steak, place in a zip-seal bag, and use the water displacement method when placing in a 133F water bath.
  2. After the 1.5 hours in the water bath, take the flank steak out of the bag, and pan sear the steak for 2 minutes of each side. I used a little butter and olive oil in the pan with the steak.
  3. Let the steak rest for 5 minutes.
  4. Cut the steak into strips.
  5. Serve on top of sautéed vegetables.
