Directions

Main Directions

  1. Preheat water bath to 130 F.
  2. Generously season the flank steak with salt, pepper, and any other preferred seasonings.
  3. Vacuum seal flank steak, place is sous vide bath for 1-2 hours.
  4. Remove flank steak and pat dry with paper towels.

Searing

  1. Pre-heat cast iron pan to high heat and add avocado oil.
  2. Sear steak on the hot pan for approximately 1 minute, flipping the steak every 15 seconds or so.
  3. Add butter near the end of the searing for extra rich flavor.
